Although these things are hard to control, it is useful to note that in the future, we can be more precise with our measurements and make sure that we mark them exactly on the right time. It is also important to be sure that we mark where the bottom of the graduated cylinder to make sure that the zeroes lined up. Conclusion This lab helped me to understand half-life better and learn how it is calculated in real-life situations. It showed me that the equations we use take into account different values of data and how this can change the result. Before this lab, I knew the equations but not how they applied to the real world. By doing the investigation hands-on, I learned about the reason for the equation and how it can be used in the real world. This lab was important for me because instead of simply performing theoretical calculations, I was able to collect data myself and use that data to find a result that was not too far from the true answer.
