In most communities especially those that lived through the time of the 16 th century numerous folk crafts have been preserved. Some of these crafts remind us of the true relationship that should exist between us while others awaken painful memories of narrative that were saddening that took place in the past. Yangi Soetsu is one of the most prominent ancient Japanese Philosopher who lived between 1889-1961. Soetsu is also the founder father of the folk craft (mingei), a Japanese movement started between 1920s and 1930s. This led to the establishment of the Japanese Folk Craft which was founded in 1936. Art in Japanese is one of the cherished cultures that have been passed on from generation to generation.
