How do you think, if perpetuated, this problem may impact you or the community you live in? If the government would take away financial aid for me, I would not be able to go to school at all. I cannot afford to pay out of pocket. When I went to school right out of high school, I wasn't able to go past the first semester because I couldn't afford it. It was a hard decision on going back to school after 10 years, but now I'm 2.5 years away from graduating (Oct. 2022). A lot of the people that live within my community are middle aged people, but the colleges help the members of the community as much as they can. UWGB and other colleges hold their graduation ceremonies at local concert venue. The colleges have to pay to hold the ceremony at the venue, so if the colleges close that income isn't going to the venue. What are some solutions to this modern day problem?

The solution seems pretty simple. The government could make college free like others countries. There would be a lot more people willing to get a degree and in turn they would bring more tax money into the government. If people want to get out of poverty or get around the poverty level, they need a good paying job, but a lot jobs require a college degree. Many people can't afford a college degree because they are working at a dead end job trying to make ends meet.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
