As time passed by, he surprisingly became my boy friend. However… “he would never know that I asked those people to beat him.” Episode II: When I was in the senior high school, I was obsessed with a girl. She was charming with her unique smile. It could jolt you like an electric current when that smile gave you her full attention. One day, on the way home, I was accidentally forced to pause and surrounded by five or six boys. The air was filled with the “tinge of death.” Abruptly, they swung roundhouse punches and slammed their fists into my shoulder, my face and my stomach. I tried to resist but I failed. Continuously, they kicked me as hard as they could. And one of these people lifted up his right hand and forcefully slapped me in the face twice in succession—it was hot, stinging and rather painful. At that moment, I had no power to bid any defiance. Finally, they left with satisfied smile when l laid down on the ground like a zombie. Then, I gradually backed into my concentration and slowly sat on the street. The feeling of pain was inundated with every parts of my body, I couldn't control my breath, and even I could hear and feel my heart beating in my ears. The wounds on my body were screaming and the blood was spraying out of my skin. The night screen hung down, and the streetlight started to shine. While, the miracle happened that the girl I liked appeared in front of my eyes.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
