the scale ranges from 0-1. The digits close to one represent a high level of reliability and digits close to 0 represent a low degree of reliability. The strong reliability results also validate the assessment of the curriculum (Georgia Department of Education, 2017).

RELIABILITY AND VALIDITY 4 EOCT The end of the course test fits the purpose of the curriculum because it shows a high degree of reliability and validity. It can measure the student’s capability to acquire skills and knowledge during the course. An assessment test must pass a reliability test to be valid to the education system. The validity of an EOCT assessment is determined before the reliability is measured. Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient analysis and standard error of measurement are used at the end of the course test assessment test to calculate its reliability. The level of consistency of the test scores for students is presented as true score variance over the sum of the observed variance in Cronbach’s coefficient reliability analysis. This computerized analysis utilizes Alginah’s and Crocker’s formulas are to calculate the reliability of assessments. The reliability results for this assessment has been consistent and above average for the last years. Summer 2012 recorded alpha values of 0.75-0.93 while winter 2012 recorded alpha values of 0.74-0.94 (Brockmeier, Green, Pate, Tsemunhu, & Bochenko, 2014). The standard error of measurement is used to evaluate the precision of the assessment as well as its error margin. The student’s true score in this assessment has a 68% chance of falling within one of the standard errors of measurement score values(Georgia Department of Education, 2017). References Brockmeier, L. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
