Employees need to be aware of the nature and scope of work that they should
be doing within the workplace at all times. If individuals have been rostered to
work at a particular time, information should be provided within the schedule
about where they should be working on a particular day, which is particularly
important if your organisation runs across a number of locations, and the tasks
that they will be performing. Knowing this information enables employees to
prepare appropriately for their shifts.

Identify a range of barrier that may arise when delegating tasks and
responsibilities, and highlight barriers to overcome them.

Processes to solve barriers:
Encourage employees and provide constructive feedback about how
they can perform a role
If the employee has too many tasks to complete already, you could help
them to prioritise the most important tasks or allocate some of their
tasks to other people
You have to be prepared to let employees to make mistakes initially
before being able to perform a task competently
Provide training or mentoring so that employees can perform a variety
of roles
In order to fully understand the skills of your employees, you might
decide to form a spreadsheet or database that includes the skills,
experience, and training completed by each individual.
