Condemning unhealthy procedures while giving out appropriate evidence-based recommendation will ensure that the rate of spread of the infection decreases due to improved food safety. Implementing all these control measures will stop the propagation of the outbreak. 4 Analysis of the information and continued surveillance is important in evaluating the interventions while seeking for uncovered cases, as this is key in exclusive stoppage in the propagation of the outbreak. 4 The process involves determining who is at risk and in need for intervention. The progress in addressing the outbreak should be communicated to relevant stakeholders like the management, public health, and disease surveillance bodies among other entities so that they can bring up their inputs when necessary. 6 Analytically, the case scenario presents the passengers, the crew and food handlers as persons at risk. The proposed preventive measures such as prophylaxis therapy should be directed to such groups of people because prophylactic therapy reduces the risk of infection. The outbreak control plan reports should be compiled and evaluated. 6 The evaluation should focus on whether the problem has been tackled. Surveillance for existing cases is necessary in ensuring that all cases are fully addressed. Food Safety Realization Education Initiative (FSEI) As a means of curbing future outbreak of foodborne illness, an educational program called Food Safety Realization Initiative is introduced. 7 The education program targets food handlers who play a vital role in promoting food safety through preventing contamination of 9

The main objective of the program is to improve food safety knowledge among food handlers while improving their exposure to better control mechanisms for food illness. 7 In reference to the presenting case of food illness outbreak, it is evident that there is a loop in knowledge within the food handling chain. Education is the most appropriate means of promoting this knowledge. All food handlers will be required to enroll in the program to attend all the sessions. This enrollment will apply to people within the food handling chain.
