technology we have presently compared to the past. It is apparent that as years go by, technology
has always progressed. Technology will only continue to develop because the cost of it will never
expire. In Marx’s statement, he emphasized that in the early 1900s, there was barely enough
“tech” to even be outlined under “Technology” in their databases. This shows us how much we
have advanced today! Nevertheless, that gradually change over the course of years as people
continue to cultivate more and more ideas. To sum up, I have confidence in that technology will
never stop progressing as the demands of people are growing.
“Consider, once again, automotive technology. Its defining, indispensable material core was of
course the internal combustion engine, plus - naturally - the rest of the automobile chassis. But
surely the technology also includes the mechanized assembly lines, the factories, the skilled
work-force, the automotive engineers, the engineering knowledge, the corporate structures
including the stockholders and the huge capital investments, and the networks of dealers and
repair facilities. (Marx, p. 575).
This is another statement from Marx I feel is very important in our current automotive
technology. I can relate to this matter as I am a car enthusiast. I work with and have a lot of
