media-fearing people are also the same people that bring the news to the world. It is embarrassing that a large portion of the US is blind leading the blind. One of the biggest assumptions is that one is afraid that a neighbor down the street might think he or she is “Rambo” and shoot up the block. There are many people that can vouch that he or she is not Rambo. Another misconception that needs to be clarified is that it is not the police’s duty to protect the people. The Supreme Court has ruled many times that it is their duty to enforce the law.

2 In order to be able to holster a gun, people need to go though a certification process and earn a concealed weapon license. There are also many other certification programs that people must go through to even touch higher-grade weapons over a handgun. People should be able to own and use weapons of their choice, as long as they are certified and know how to handle the weapon responsibly. Most people do not understand why anyone would need anything more than a handgun. Assault rifles and sub-machine guns, for example, are fun to shoot recreationally and are good self-defense mechanisms for when there are more than a couple attackers, which does happen. In Switzerland, every man must serve in the military for at least 2 years. After that, every man keeps his rifle. Nobody dares to invade because every man has a rifle and knows how to shoot it. Nobody would invade us or even attempt to rob a bank if everyone
