PARAGRAPH 1: INTRODUCTION AND THESIS
Because you have a limited amount of space to present your position, you absolutely need to get straight to
the point. Your first sentence in your introduction needs to be a precise thesis statement that sets the topic for
the rest of your paper.
For example: “Yellowstone National Park is one of the U.S.’s most visited national parks for numerous reasons.”
