meeting is arranged and written down in an agenda which makes all the persons involve be responsible and assist at the agenda time, by the other way an informal meeting is just a casual meeting and not as planned as the formal one, also formal meetings are arranged in a specific place, informal meetings are placed anywhere. Finally, the last difference is that in formal meetings policies and can be created or changed, in other way informal meetings don’t have to follow any company policy. 2.- What are some of the notes and actions that need to be taken during a meeting? When we speak about a meeting this is several things to do and take notes about, the first one will be about budgets and costs, this is very important because it’s the money of the company and in meetings the manager always gives the budget that you can use or allowed to spend, for example for external customers or contacts of the company you need to know the budget that you can spend and how much time will the meeting be arranged for, another important note is booking a venue, this is very important because sometimes you need to book an external venue and for this it’s a good idea to book ahead to avoid any problems. Another important action is organize the accommodation and transport for the people that will be involved in the meeting, this because sometimes it depends in the amount of people that are going to the meetings, this could change the place of the meeting or even the way to get there, sometimes even an external company books all of it for you, another action is organize the facility of the meeting this is to secure the best meeting and make everyone satisfied with the venue or place its scheduled for example have data projector, screens to see the information you want to talk about, everything is clean and tidy, everything works (internet, sound, etc.)this is very important because sometimes the facility is not suitable for what you intend to do in the meeting, it’s also very important that you prepare the relevant information for everyone that is assisting to the meeting, this is important because every participant need to know the information that is going to be talked in the meeting and the requirements for everyone. Finally, the last action is to keep records of the meetings you do for future events, or even if something changes before the meeting is set you have everything written down and you will be able to plan better.
