A. If yes, describe the design of the successful train. – Almost all of my trains were able to get to the station. They all had the steam engine which seemed to help and added on coolers, heaters, balloons, and springs. 2. Which of your criteria presented the most challenge to getting the train to its goal, and why? – The first criteria that I made because I wouldn’t be able to get to the station most of them time with just the steam engine. 3. Which limitation was the biggest roadblock to getting the train to the station? – The first limitation that I made (listed above).

4. Why was it important to have endothermic and exothermic processes in the building materials of your train? - Before, trains worked using the steam engine. Thus, it uses heat so it is crucial to apply heat balance. The steam engine absorbs energy during the stage of boiling water. A. Which engines released thermal energy in an exothermic reaction? – The steam engine released thermal energy. B. Which engines absorbed thermal energy in an endothermic reaction? – The wood- burning heater absorbed thermal energy. 5. If you could add any building item options to your virtual train to improve its design, what would those items be, and why would you need to add them? – It would add rockets to attach onto the wheels because it would make the train go way faster and I wouldn’t need to add on extra parts to my design.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
