12. EXCUSED ABSENCES: IN-SEMESTER TESTS AND PROBLEM SETS . To request an excused absence, meet with me to discuss your request before the requested date (if an absence is forseeable) or within one week after the absence, if it is of an unforseeable nature. At that time we will discuss your request. Without this in-person discussion, you will be unable to receive an excused absence. If you are granted an excused absence for the mandatory Final Exam, then see Topic 5 (on page 1) for the procedure to reschedule the mandatory final exam. If you are granted an excused absence for an in-semester test or turn-in assignment, then a grade will be assigned for the missed work. If an in-semester test, the grade assigned will maintain your performance relative to the class average on the other Test and the Final Exam. If a turn-in assignment, the grade assigned will maintain your performance relative to the class average for that turn-in assignment. Only one excused absence is allowed from the two in-semester tests. Only one excused absence is allowed from the turn-in assignments. 13. ADVERSE WEATHER POLICY . No in-semester tests or Final Exam will be given when the NCSU Adverse Weather policy is in effect. See the course web page for how test or exam will be rescheduled. 14. INCOMPLETES . ECE 303 follows the University Policy on Incompletes. This Policy is posted at policies.ncsu.edu/regulation/reg-02-50-03 . 2

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
