The performance appraisal focal areas will be based on three areas:

The performance appraisal will be rated from 1 to 5 and calculated in a total number which
will represent the percentage of annual raise. The performance appraisals will be orchestrated
annually on quarterly bases. The use of a behaviorally anchored rating scale (BARS) would
identify performance measures, set certain guidelines, gain feedback and evaluation schedule.
The consideration in developing and utilizing BARS is discussed in the textbook (Griffin, 2014).
