It is basically true that people cannot compete favorably if they continue being enslaved in their subcultures. Finally, the argument presented by the authors that culture exists to serve the human population is true. Sowell indicates “culture exists to serve the vital, practical requirements of life and structure a society so as to perpetuate a species…” (p. 4). In this presentation, I tend to agree with him that culture is in place primarily to serve the human population, hence leading to diversification.
