Delta Airlines has gained traction with American competitors, however, to become globally competitive they should benchmark themselves against industry leaders in the global market such as Emirate or Virgin Airlines. As we move forward, the next topic is to specify the overall manner the organization selected from the beginning of this research, Yavapai Regional Medical Center implements organizational systems, wireless technologies, and mobile technologies. According to (Benson, 2015), the author suggest patients at YRMC now have the privilege of receiving personalized care with a new organizational system known as Electronic Medical (EMR) system called Project CARE. This is a state-of-the-art network meets the demand where caregivers are given quick access to medical information of its patients from two of its locations. Paper charts have become a thing of the past. Caregivers are issued an assortment of sophisticated tools such as wall mount systems to digitized scanners and mobile computing carts to provide the support of personalized care to provide to provide to patients of YRMC. These computing devices have the necessary security requirements to ensure the confidentiality of patient medical records. The scanners and mobile computer carts meets the need of wireless and mobile technologies as well. Next, let’s compare Delta and YRMC to determine which company is using mobile and wireless technologies more strategically and why. Both companies have strategically implemented wireless and mobile technologies, however YRMC has the beneficial advantage over Delta Airlines due to the reasoning behind implementing their information system. Delta is aiming to enhance the customer’s experience during flights and while waiting at the airport. Delta Airlines can’t guarantee secured usage through Wi-Fi.
