The Christan religion believers live by a set of rules called the 10 Commandments. Most Christans view the 10 Commandments as their primary set of rules to follow to decipher what is right and wrong. the 10 commandments that the Christans believe are as followed; (1) you shall have no other gods before me, (2) you shall not make for yourself and idol in the form of anything in heaven or earth, (3) you shall not miss use the name of the Lord your God, (4) remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, (5) honor your mother and father, (6) you shall not murder, (7) you shall not commit adultery, (8) you shall not steal, (9) you shall not give false testmony against your neighbor, (10) you should not covert your neighbor’s house, wife, etc.. All of those who practce Buddhism live by and practce “The Five Moral Precepts”. “The Five Moral Precepts” include refraining from harming living things, taking what is not given, sexual misconduct, lying or gossip, and taking intoxicatng substances; for example drugs or alcohol. I feel that Christans and Buddhists are very similar in this way that they both have a set of rules to follow and live by.The history of Buddhism dates back very far and has more than 360 million adherents.
