Political: youth voting, immigration, climate change, anti-abortion, etc. Economic: unemployment, tax cuts, budget cuts, etc. Social: racism, sexism, homophobia, transgender rights, etc. Education: budget cut to public schools, student loans, affirmative action, etc. This list is just a suggestion and is not an exhaustive list of current issues in our society. You may select a different issue as long as you can include at least one statistics to demonstrate its prominence. Part Two Explain how you would like to tackle the issue of your choice. Determine the target audience, the entertainment medium & genre, and the message you want to get across. For example, if your issue is texting & driving, your main message can be “texting & driving is dangerous and you should not engage in this behavior,” your target audience can be college students , and your entertainment media/genre can be TV drama . Explain why this entertainment medium & genre is suitable for your message and your audience in at least 3 sentences (1 point). Part Three Elaborate on your education-entertainment message in at least 5 sentences. Describe how your message can be embedded into the entertainment media specified – describe the plot, the characters, and other entertainment elements used to get your message across (1.5 point).
