Artificial intelligence has therefore enabled antivirus software to understand any baseline security breaches and institute security protocols to protect the computer or network from any potential damage. In this way, artificial intelligence has significantly contributed to the fortification and strengthening of cybersecurity among internet and computer users.
Research project 9 PKI services have been integrated with artificial intelligence capabilities; this technology enhances server encryption communication capabilities. Moreover, it enables encrypting and securing of sensitive websites. This technology has boosted the levels of cybersecurity in organizations and companies. Furthermore, it has prevented sensitive information from being accessible to malicious users and hackers (Klaar, 2011). Simulated penetration tastings have been made possible for business security systems; this procedure involves cybersecurity professionals checking for any vulnerability in a computer system. This exposes any security gaps that may exist in a system and which may be used by hackers to breach the cybersecurity of a business system (Bidgoli, 2006). Challenges of using artificial intelligence in cybersecurity The lack of sufficient and comprehensive policies to govern the national and international usage of cyber systems and protocols is a major challenge to cybersecurity. The fact that cyber- crimes have no boarders makes it a very difficult problem to address and solve coherently more so since hackers are located in different locations all around the world. The cyber-crime policies and laws are not standardized well across the globe; this, therefore, makes cyber-related crimes hard to punish or address exhaustively. Moreover, the use of artificial intelligence has not been harmonized well for usage in all countries across the world. The fact that artificial intelligence can prevent the occurrence of cyber-crimes to a significant extent makes it a technology that should be used unilaterally in all countries. However, countries have not fully integrated their organizational systems to make them fully compatible with using artificial intelligence capabilities.
Research project 10 In the 21 st century, technology has been advancing at overwhelming levels and rates, technology changes and upgrades happen at very fast rates around the world. This has made cybersecurity protocols, procedures, and techniques quickly outdated. Hackers have been taking advantage to the fact that software, programs, and systems become outdated quickly. Despite the usage of artificial intelligence capabilities, there have been tremendous security gaps that are always left in case there is a program or software update. Hackers have, on numerous, times taken advantage of the fact that there are network or system security gaps. This is one of the most common reasons as to why cybersecurity has not been fully effective for systems despite the integration of artificial intelligence capabilities.
