Rositano owns Rositano’s Pizzeria. The restaurant is very busy; Rositano has been the owner / manager of his restaurant for the last 20 years. He is close to retirement and wants to slowly start passing his time at the restaurant to his only daughter Marie. Marie knows the restaurant business very well. She has recently completed her Diploma of Hospitality Management and has been working on and off in the restaurant since a young age. Marie is keen to take over the business but wants to use more modern technology to bring the restaurant into the 21 st century. The restaurant is not licensed and customers bring their own drinks and Rositano does not want to use credit cards. All customers must bring cash. Although there is an ATM across the road when it is raining some customers get annoyed when they have to run across to pick up money. Rositano still uses order dockets and writes all stock into a manual book. His accountant spoke to Marie recently and told her that he has been trying to convince Rositano to starting up using en electronic accounting system so it can be easily uploaded once a month and the accountant could do Rositano’s books straight from his own office.
