It helped me understand more about what it really means to be agnostic as I was still unclear about my position, and it made me think deeply about whether the world would be better off without religion, but more importantly that as it may be unknowable whether or not there is some higher power, we are better off just living our best lives. This article seeks to clarify the distinction between atheism and agnosticism and shows how they are fundamentally different in terms of the stance taken on a higher power. The article highlights examples from prominent agnostics discussing their stance, and essentially reveals that atheists believe that there is no God, whereas agnostics emphasize the idea that they really do not know either way.
