We will also be training the staff for customer service and cash register training. We will also be giving training to our staff on alcohol consumption. Improving the systems We will be developing the procedures and controlling them to prevent failure. Waste assessment The way we manage our waste is important. We will have to assess the waste and make sure it is in the correct recycling bin. We will need to calculate the costings for storing, handling and deposal of waste. Some waste will need to be treated on site before it sent to the correct recycle place. There will be a constant waste management plan that will be changed with all new developments in recycling. Improving storage A good practice is to only buy and store what you need. Having a stock check at the end of the day before making orders will help to save money. Thus, keeping the storage areas uncluttered clean and tidy with everything labelled and dated. Conserving energy Making the energy bills as low as possible will save the business money and save on burning fossil fuels reducing the greenhouse gases in our atmosphere.
