IV.2.3 How team conduct productive meeting? Meetings could be an opportunity to bring together a diverse group of workers to discuss plans for a project. While meetings offered trainees opportunities, if they were not managed effectively, they could waste the time of the participants. Leader took steps to run a productive meeting by developing a clear plan and ensuring participants stay on task. Firstly, before conduct productive meetings leader began to develop materials of other members that define the purpose of the meeting, provided background information and set an agenda. Leader discussed with others and choose a time for the meeting that was convenient for members. Leader kept all the members focused on the agenda. When conversations drift off topic, the leader steered the team back to the agenda. Secretary recorded the meeting minutes because leader could use the agenda for the next meeting. Leader created an encouraging environment by setting some ground rules in advance. For example, leader made it clear that interruptions or criticism will not be tolerated while a team member was speaking. Leader could ask team members who have not spoken for their opinion. At the conclusion of the meeting leader gave a review of key points and ensure that all team members understand their action items. IV.2.4 4.2.3 Team composition and roles, they played In the group there are reformers, helpers, achievers, individualists, investigators, loyalists, enthusiasts, challengers and peacemakers. The reformers’ personality type is principle, conscientious, purposeful and self-controlled. The reformer adheres to a personal set of ethical and quality standards and was typically a perfectionist. The reformer functions best within a team when in the role of planning and administrating, where they were able to follow or create structures, streamline procedure, and deal with the same people. Helpers are generous, demonstrative and at times, people pleasing. They were usually the friendly members. Achievers were competent, excelling and adaptive. They were the ambitious, imageconsicious and success driven members. The achiever benefits a team most by going above and beyond what is expected, such as exceeding customer expectations. The individualist was temperamental and, at times, self-absorbed. They can be identified as those members who were often reserved, self-conscious and withdrawn from others. The investigator is secretive, isolated and perceptive. They are identifiable as those who have exceptional technical expertise and can produce innovative ideas. Loyalists were responsible, trustworthy and engaging. They were the committed and security- oriented team players, who were hard working, reliable, and have the ability to inspire cooperation among colleagues.
