The paper aims at analysing three natural resource based countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan  and Russia. The gap of the research detected from the beginning is that all three countries are  different in their economic environment and stage, geographical position and cultural  identity. Regardless of these limitations and differences in economic levels of the countries  chosen, the main idea of the research is to detect and analyse the trends observed in the  tourism and energy    industry  in each country separately and try to compare the results  accordingly. Moreover, the main trends of each country in regards with the chosen industries  with respect to their statistical indicators are detected.  Furthermore, the trends  analysis and  results is going to be compared with the goal of finding the similarities and differences in the

trends. Afterwards, analytical framework with usage of behavioural economics is going to be  applied in order to explain the potential differences in the outcomes observed. Research question and potential thesis statement answering the question  The major question of the paper aims at finding if the changes in volume of oil and  gas production influence the growth rate of the tourism industry in GDP of Azerbaijan,  Russia and Kazakhstan respectively.  The expected hypothesis to be found true is that there exist the trends that are  associated with the changes in volume of oil and gas production and growth of tourism  industries in the above stated countries. The trends can be reflected both as in negative or  positive correlation in each country independently. Moreover, the common features that are  intrinsic to all three countries make them at some level comparable to each other. Regardless  of the economy of each country being on different level, the main characteristics that unite  them is the fact, that all three countries are known as resource based economies that gives  them power and weakness at the same time.  Justification for the proposal research, the importance of the research Azerbaijan, Russia and Kazakhstan are resource-based countries meaning they mainly focus on the production of the natural resources they have which makes their economy  dependent only on one sector and exposing them to Dutch disease. For prevention of it,  countries should improve other fields of their economy in order not to stuck in hard situation  in the case of exhaustion of the resources. One of the potential sectors that can be improved  in the above-mentioned countries is tourism. Therefore, it is important to do research about

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
