20th August, 2019 Private and confidential Gregory Stanford 20 Barbet Place, 4220 – Gold Coast - QLD Dear Gregory Termination of your employment I am writing to you about the termination of your employment with Harbor Quays Apartment Body Corporation. You have repeatedly been accused of misbehaving with our staff members. In spite of being warned about the same, you have failed to show any amount of professionalism. You may note that any kind of misbehavior can attract disciplinary action according to Clause 20 of the employment agreement. Therefore, as a consequence of the action, we were forced to initiate, you are terminated from your post. On 30th April 2019 you met with the manager, Ian. In that meeting, you were advised that. You have repeatedly been accused of misbehaving with our staff members. You were issued with a formal counselling letter on 10 th May 2019. On 2 nd June 2019 you had a second meeting with the manager Fernanda and you were advised that your conduct had not improved to the level required. You were issued with a second warning letter on 10 th June 2019. You also attended a meeting with Fernanda on 3 rd July 2019. In that meeting you were issued with a final warning letter. This letter indicated that your employment may be terminated if your conduct did not improve by 29 th July 2019. We consider that your conduct is still unsatisfactory and have decided to terminate your employment for the following reasons: Discrimination acts Misbehaving with our staff members Lack of character Based on your length of service, your notice period is 2 weeks. Therefore your employment will end on 15 th August 2019. Your employment will end immediately. Based on your length of service, your notice period is 2 weeks. You will also be paid your accrued entitlements and any outstanding pay, up to and including your last day of employment. This includes the balance of any time off instead of overtime accrued but not yet taken (paid at the overtime rate applicable when the overtime was worked), and superannuation. If you have been paid annual leave in advance, any amount of annual leave still owing will be deducted from your final pay.
