PROJECT 02B - SITE DOCUMENTATIONThe site for Project 02 is the atrium of the College of Architectureand Design (CoAD).Students will use existing plans as CAD files andscanned section drawings to draw/draft sections of the atrium.Eachstudio will make a shared site model at a 1/4” = 1’-0” scale.Studioinstructors will provide the specific criteria for the site documentationmedia - both the drawing and the model.PROJECT 02C - HYBRID STAIRThe atrium of the CoAD has been the site of many installations andevents. Some notable examples include the 1986, student built, full scale recreation of Bramante’s Tempietto di San Pietro. In 1994,artist Ellen Fullerman “played the atrium” in her pieceTensionBuildsby creating the largest long string instrument in the worldwithin our atrium. She returned in 2019 to perform her piece titled,“The Watch, Reprise, 2016.”In 2000, Dwayne Bohslauv’s interactiveAtrium - College of Architecture and Design (CoAD)02B FINAL DELIVERABLESPlan - 1/8” = 1’-0”Sections - 1/8” = 1’-0”Model - 1/4” = 1’-0”
