Describe the difference between the typical states of your PC. Include shutdown, hibernation, standby, fully awake, etc. There are differences in the states of a PC. In sleep mode all actions on the PC are stopped and any open documents and applications are put in memory. A person can quickly resume normal, full power operation in a few seconds. Sleep mode is kind of the same thing as standby mode and it also doesn’t use a lot of power. Hibernate mode saves open documents and running applications to the hard drive and shuts down the computer, so once it’s in hibernate mode it uses no power. Once the PC is powered on it will resume everything where you left off. In the shutdown state the PC has no memory state and is not performing and computational tasks. When the PC is fully awake the system is fully usable.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
