The government should tax the unregistered parlors and warn them to get registered. Many unregistered small-scaled parlor owners complain that the tax rates are so high, in this regard the government should keep the tax rates as affordable as possible in order to support small-scale businesses and promote women empowerment.

29 Beauty Parlors What Ayesha Mumtaz (Director of the Punjab Food Authority) did was phenomenal, similar action should be taken for this problem as well. These authorities should send their secrets agents to both high class and lower class parlors to test their quality standards and customer services. There are complaints that the parlor employees are extremely judgmental and biased in certain cases to specific customers who tip them more. A ban should be placed on tips by the parlor managers so biasness could be avoided. Latest and enhanced training should be given to the otherwise uneducated girls, so they specialize in their field and they become productive for the long-term. The complaints made by the customers at both high-class and lower class parlors should be taken into consideration by the parlor management so that same problem may not occur again in the future. Cosmetic Doctors should be hired by the government to test the makeup equipment as well as products being used on the customers in these salons. Sometimes, certain diseases spread as a result of not cleaning the hair brushes and makeup brushes and blenders. The cleanliness of the place and salon equipment must be taken care of so as to avoid the unnoticed diseases. The parlor workers should mind their own business and must not pass any racist or sexist comments on the customers. The ‘Smile Again’ foundation by Depilex is one big step towards social development and women empowerment. Every big-scale salon must take such initiatives like hiring acid attack victims, widowed women, divorced women and women belonging to minorities. In premium beauty salons, a panel of people (men or women) are hired to sit on the reception desk for the aid of the customers, these people should be replaced by transgender. These beauty parlors should collaborate with the foundations working on the rights of transgender like Aukhuwaat Foundation.
