On the other hand, some cons that can be found with the use of holistic treatments is that they aren’t always effective and it’s never really known if it might work for a specific animal. It could work on one animal but not the next it all depends on how each animal’s body reacts to the medicine and how bad the disease or problem it is being treated for. 5. Do you think you’d like to learn how to perform veterinary acupuncture? Why or why not? I would love to perform veterinary acupuncture. It seems like such an interesting and fun career as you get to learn what points in the body are connected to specific organs or functions in the body. Also you get to work with needles in a different and unique way to get qi flowing the right way through the body.
