Earth View Young Earth View – The universe was created by God in six days (Lecture 2, 2017). Old Earth View – The belief that the universe and earth was created without God but did not have life until God commanded its creation in stages (Lecture 2, 2017). Theistic Evolution View – The belief that life was directed by God, even though life scientifically evolved (Lecture 2, 2017).

My personal view I believe in the Old Earth View. I think the world and universe existed before God commanded life be put on it. But it was not until God commanded life that life existed.

I believe human creation was at the hand of God, after the existence of the universe. The creation of man and woman was done by God’s image, to live as he believed would be best (Diffey, 2016). Theistic Evolution supports the theory that the universe existed billion of years before God’s creation, and life created was influenced by God (Lecture 2, 2017). Evolution
