As each new model of the iPhone comes out, the price goes up because of the new features each model has. The demand of the new iPhone goes up when it is first released because everyone wants to have the new version. Recently there have been many reports of bugs and complications relating to the new iPhone X, and the demand for this new phone has declined. This is also due to price because how much the price of the phone has gone up since the release of the 10. only exists if someone is willing and able to pay for the good. “Demand” is an expression of consumer buying intentions, of a willingness to buy, not a statement of actual purchases. Consumers don’t want to spend anywhere from $800-$1200 on a phone for it to have complications and defects. Therefore, the demand for iPhones’ has decreased causing apple to make less phones and their stock price to decrease as well.
