OD OBJECTIVES OF EASTERN IT The manger and we identified a set of strategic priorities that would guide all their spending and activities. With that list as a guide previously they took serious steps to cut expenses, including layoffs and temporary pay decreases across the organization. While interviewing the manager of Eastern IT, he greatly emphasized that the company has developed several organizational development objectives which it hopes to achieve in the long run. These were collected as follows: Development of organizational culture and development of processes through continuous interaction between different stakeholders in spite of hierarchical levels Development of team spirit as a culture and change of behavior. Social empowerment of employees. Focus on value creation enable interaction and involvement of employees, develop an analytical mindset and take proactive decisions at different levels. Evaluate existing systems and, where necessary, introduce or develop new systems that incorporate complete transformation Transform the organization to find / reach its competitive edge. Using employee talent and inputs through creativity, innovation, research and development to achieve organizational growth Create a self - managed team by modifying behavior.

11 | P a g e DIAGNOSIS For the problem diagnosis section, several problems were identified in the company. This shows that an appropriate interventions working concurrently are required so that problems can be handled efficiently to achieve change. Eastern IT can make use of employee participation, involved decision making by avoiding hierarchical decision-making, and building trust and investing on employees. It is essential to note that interventions may involve implementation of several small changes like relocation of certain tasks. Therefore, this calls setting up a team with adequate expertise. As we know, organizational development involves measures and actions which assist in understanding the behavioral science of an organization culture meant to implement change. Several theories, processes and activities are involved and the main focus is towards improving the methods of achieving company goals. In general, organizational development is making improvements on the general performance of workforce. All the processes undertaken in the organization are enhanced so that the general organizational effectiveness is attained. The several interventions which can be deployed in a company like Eastern IT in the creation of developmental change are discussed as follows: Interventions 1. Avoid hierarchical decision-making:
