If you are connected to the local data source, then check in the workflow process. After you check in the workflow, it is ready to be activated at run time. Publish/Activate Publishes and activates the workflow process with a single button click from within Siebel Tools while in local mode. If you use Publish/Activate rather than Publish to publish the workflow, then it is not necessary to separately activate the workflow in the Siebel client. To use this feature, you must also set the [Workflow] VerCheckTime parameter to -1 (negative 1) for the Siebel client on which you are testing. For more information, see “Preparing Siebel Tools to Develop a Workflow Process” on page 115 .

For more information, see “Preparing Siebel Tools to Develop a Workflow Process” on page 115 . Activate Button in the Siebel Client If you choose to publish a workflow process but not activate it in Siebel Tools, then you must use the Siebel client to activate the workflow by clicking Activate in the Workflow Deployment view. Activate adds a new record that is visible in the Active Workflow Processes list. Activate performs the following: 1 Checks the syntax for validity. 2 Registers run-time events, if used. 3 Changes the status of the workflow process to Active. 4 If the workflow process was previously activated, then Activate changes the status of the previous active version to Outdated. Activate chooses the active version of the workflow process in the run-time tables. Only one version of a workflow can be active at a time for a Siebel Enterprise. Activate provides version control to address an environment where multiple developers can publish multiple versions of the same workflow process. Activation occurs from within the Siebel client, where multi select is supported. For more information, see “Activating a Workflow Process” on page 216 . Validation of a Workflow Process If you click Publish or Publish/Activate in the WF/Task Editor toolbar, then the workflow process is validated before it is published. For more information, see “Validate Tool” on page 197 . Revise Creates a new version of the workflow process for editing. The new version displays in the Workflow Processes OBLE with the version property incremented by 1. Expire Sets the status for the workflow process to Not In Use. After the workflow is expired, it can no longer be edited, published or activated. However, it can be revised. Table 10. Buttons on the WF/Task Editor Toolbar Button Name Description

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
