Expect Disney to not make personal acquisitions without considering the bottom  line first.  Expect sound decisions that will positively affect the company’s future. Expect Disney to live up to their contractual duties and expectations. Expect a competent CEO replacement. SEC  (HP/HI)-   For Disney to legally and ethically conduct business overseas.  ESPN  (LP/HI)-   For Disney to find long-term service providers for ESPN broadcasts.

STAKEHOLDER EXPECTATIONS EMPLOYEES  (LP/HI)- Expect to be treated with respect and valued as part of the organizational whole.  Expect to considered when making important corporate decisions. Expect their skills and talents to contribute to Disney’s products. Expect a competent CEO replacement. SHANGHAI SHENDI GROUP  (LP/HI)- Expect Disney to respect their ways of life. Expect Disney Shanghai to be a success and provide both corporations with revenues.  Expect to provide input in making decisions on how to run Shanghai Disney.  Expect Disney to provide them with accurate organizational balance sheet information.    Issues: Operate ethically. Find long term service provider solutions for ESPN broadcasts. Integrate acquisitions into Disney corporate vision. CEO replacement. Make Disney Shanghai profitable.

Iger is retiring and needs to find someone to replace him and make a  smooth CEO transition. Iger needs to firm up his long term advantage with ESPN by locking-in  long term service providers (cable and Internet). Iger needs to ensure the Shanghai Disney is successful. Iger needs to continue to leverage the Disney channel in foreign markets  while acting ethically.
