How and when you will receive feedback on your work Students who are uncertain or unsure of the quality of their assessment work prior to the due date are encouraged to approach either the Unit Chair or their Campus Coordinator to discuss any concerns they may have. As per Faculty policy, assignments submitted by the due date will be formally assessed and returned to students within 15-working days. When and how to submit your work Due by 5:00pm AEST Monday 13 January 2020 In accordance with Faculty policy, all assignments are to be submitted online in an area provided in the MMH230 Unit Site (accessed via DeakinSync). - Summative assessment task 2 Summative Assessment Task 2 (Individual) Brief description of assessment task Closed book examination The exam will ask you to draw on your knowledge and understanding of the unit content from topics 1-10. Detail of student output 2-hours Grading and weighting (% total mark for unit) 60% This task assesses your achievement of these Unit Learning Outcome(s) ULO1: Your ability to identify and explain SHRM frameworks, theories, concepts and processes and the broader legal context within which SHRM is performed, as is appropriate to the exam questions. ULO2: Your ability to analyse problems and issues that may arise in an organisational context, and based on the application of relevant SHRM frameworks and theories make informed recommendations for the improvement of HRM processes in order to resolve the problems/issued identified, as is appropriate to the exam questions.

How and when you will receive feedback on your work Students who are uncertain or unsure of the quality of their exam preparation prior to the scheduled date of their exam in this unit are encouraged to approach either the Unit Chair or their Campus Co-ordinator to discuss any concerns they may have. Students may contact the Unit Chair seeking feedback on their exam performance following the formal release of Trimester 1 results. When and how to submit your work T3, 2019 examination period. It is your responsibility to determine the time, location and date of the examination via Student Connect. Your learning experiences in this Unit - and your expected commitment To be successful in this unit, you must: Read all materials in preparation for your classes or seminars, and follow up each with further study and research on the topic; Start your assessment tasks well ahead of the due date; Read or listen to all feedback carefully, and use it in your future work; Attend and engage in all timetabled learning experiences as follows: Scheduled learning activities - campus 1 x 2 hour class, 1 x 1 hour seminar per week Scheduled learning activities - cloud 1x 2 hour class (recordings provided) + 1 hour online seminar (recordings provided) per week Students are expected to spend approximately 150-hours over the trimester undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
