3.Can one believe that sex has no inherent meaning yet express sex ethically? Support your stance. Yes, I believe people will still have sex even though there is no meaning in their mind because of the natural urge to. Even though it might not be ethical or have a purpose people still engage in some sexual behaviors. I think this goes to feeling different from lovinganother person but can be for power or for fun.
Do you believe that sex research benefits individuals and society or that it leads to moral decay? Explain.I believe that sex research hugely benefits individuals and society. This can be seen as studying sexual diseases to save peoples life’s or to create new contraceptives to help prevent unwanted pregnancies. Along with this research and studies can look into why we have sex and sometimes cause people to do bad thigs like cheat or rape. Then hopefully we can help stop or prevent these problems. Since the large majority of federal government-funded sexuality-related research deals with HIV/STI risk behavior and prevention, do you think that other areas of human sexuality should be funded? If so,what areas? If not, why? Yes, I think there should be teen pregnancy programs. Having a kid at an age you’re not ready for can be detrimental to the success of that family. The government should look into heavily funding this because the effect of this might be decreased social spending programs on teen moms. Other than this people should just be more informed. Teaming up to combat both sexual diseases and unwanted pregnancies could end up saving more money and lives.I think your overall message in your first paragraph is well represented by " everyone does it but no one talks about it" I think in society we don’t fully understand human sexuality and that’s what makes it so hard to talk about but so important to research. Everyone is different I society and has different believes but sex research can help save or prevent lives.
