What should I do as a student in college right now?
Put as much effort as you go to work every day. Work hard.
Do something you love.
What jobs were you able to use your major in?
Major in Biology and used his degree to teach science
classes at a high-school.
You can become a nurse or doctor
if you have a degree in Biology. Biology degree offers many
job opportunities then a history degree.
Was getting your master's degree hard?
Master degree program was easier than bachelors
degree.
What is the best advice you would give to me for
achieving a career similar to Biology?
It’s going to be hard programs. You have to make sure that
is
what you
want to do. If you can't stand animals or
plants consider that not your field.
Even know you earned your masters degree in biology did
you learn any new things?

You are always learning new things. Usually a bachelor
learning. His program in education. Prepared labs. The
mater in bachelor is harder.
Did you have a specific goal toward your major in Biology?
Sophmore in HS a degree in biology and teach biology
Would volunteering help my career and what type of
volunteer should I partake in?
Volunteering at a soup kitchen may have helped my senses.
Volunteer somewhere that is similar to my degree. It would
help more to try it first before committing to that career.
Volunteer for something related to Botany.
4. Summary of what I have learned during this informative interview:
I went to my grandpa which is Harold Harmon as my primary source because he is a great teacher
of learning Biology and chemistry type classes. His major in Biology is similar to my career because
Botanists are required to take a lot of science classes and know the basics of science. I have learned
that whatever program you are going to pursue is going to be hard. In order for me to achieve
success I need to start doing things to prepare for my future career such as volunteering and making
changes in my schedule. I learned that everyone has a different story on how they found their career.
Like my grandpa it was his inspiration to be a teacher. I think it is very cool how my grandpa pursued
his degree and knew he wanted to do biology even in his sophomore year. We can all take advice
from the people in our lives, and other people to help us know our career better. In the future in
schooling, my grandpa is the best tutor to go to for help in the science classes I will take
in the
future.
VII. Discuss your perceived personal advantages and disadvantages regarding the
career you are researching.
My personal advantages of being a botanist are salary is high, work can happen
anywhere and growth average is aboved. The disadvantages of being an botanists is
having extensieve education, research positions require a PhD and a lot of pressure
involved.
