ConclusionThe basic communication model consists of a sender having an idea, the sender encodingthe idea into a message, the message traveling over a mediated channel, the receiverdecoding the message, and the receiver responding with feedback.Nonverbal communication, consisting of all unwritten and unspoken messages, includeseye contact, facial expression, tone of voice, posture, touch, intensity, timing and pace,and sounds that convey understanding.
Most messages reach their destination, but are disrupted due to communication barriers.Sexual communication can be improved if partners are willing.One way to improve general communication skills is to learn to express oneself withconfidence. Assertiveness means standing up for your basic rights without violatinganyone else's rights.Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are infections that can be contracted throughsexual intimacy. There are also diseases of the sexual organs referred to as sexuallyrelated diseases (SRDs), which can occur in both sexually active and sexually inactiveindividuals. More frequent sex and earlier sex have meant an increase in the number ofpeople subjected to STIs.
