Social Sponsors Make a friend, help a colleague and give back to the sponsor program. Transition season is quickly approaching and we are seeking sponsors for many newcomers. Many folks are arriving in June, which is fast approaching. We need both Office and Social Sponsors to sign up ASAP. 4 CLO Upcoming Newcomer and TDY Briefing Sessions The following are the upcoming Newcomer and TDY briefings for the transition season. CLO coordinated this calendar based on current arrival dates. Currently, all briefings will take place in Tana B. TDY Briefing: · Monday, June 4 at 8:30am Newcomer Briefings: · Monday, June 25 @ 8:00am · Monday, July 9 @ 8:00am · Monday, July 23 @ 8:00am · Monday, August 6 @ 8:00am · Monday, August 13 @ 8:00am · Monday, August 20 @ 8:00am · Monday, September 10 @ 8:00am · Monday, October 1 @ 8:00am Please remember to RSVP for any attendees from your office to [email protected] . The briefing is mandatory for all direct hires and long term TDYers (3 weeks or more); however, everyone is encouraged to attend at least the RSO and Health Unit briefings. Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts 2018 - 2019 A few parents at post are looking to run Girl Scouts (Daisies and Brownies) and Cub Scouts for the next school year. In order to make it happen, they need other parents to help with organization and participation. If you are interested in getting involved, please let them know. Kathrin Tegenfeldt - Is looking to re - start Girl Scouts and will be coordinating a group for Brownies and Daisies (Kindergarten - Third). The aim is to host meetings in Old Airport. Please contact her if you are interested in participating. If additional volunteers are interested in restarting Juniors or Cadet groups, please also let Kathrin know.
