are girl-led, that they learn by doing, and engage in cooperative learning. The Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington provide 40 service units for girls in Oregon and the Clark and Skamania counties of Washington state. On August 11, 2012, Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington will hold their 100 year Anniversary Celebration at the Linn County Expo Center in Albany, Oregon. This event is free and open to the public. All girl scouts (past, present, and future) are encouraged to attend. The event will start at 10 a.m. and include a fashion show, vendor and activity booths, time to make connections with fellow girl scouts and birthday cake served until 2 p.m. A concert will follow until 5 p.m. and features three Radio Disney stars: Savannah Outen, Greyson Chance, and Coco Jones. This is an event that will interest the family and friends of the Girl Scouts in Eugene and Springfield, Oregon. This event also has great potential to recruit new members and celebrate all of the work done by the current members. To do this, I’ve enclosed a media kit that includes: a news release, a print ad, a script of a video showing on YouTube, and another print ad on how to get involved with Girl Scouts. For more information, please contact Sarah Miller, Director of Communications for Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington at [email protected] . If she does not hear from you by July 1, she will give you a follow-up call. Sincerely, Molly Monihan Public Relations Intern for Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
