qualify for an evaluator’s position in an interview, then the CEO Charles and President Mr. Green not fulfilling their promises. In the mindset of the leaders of the company, women are meant to overwork in the lower position while men enjoy that hard work which is not a good business practice in terms of culture. After severally being promised to be included in the evaluator’s team for 3 years, I expected Ms. Anderson to take legal action against the company since the “half pie” thing is not possible for all the women employees. The company should embrace diversity, in that, all the employees are entitled with voice to make change or create a solution that would cause positive
impact to the organization. However, the company must always plot a negative reason on Ms. Anderson whenever employees are appointed to the evaluator’s team which is not good recommendation in regards employee motivation. The President makes a foolish explanation after denying Ms. Anderson evaluator’s position. The company believes that the energy and commitment needed in the team was higher than what women could offer. After this statement, Ms. Anderson could have calculated her next moves wisely and either search for a different job or start another firm. Although, the spirit she had of proving what she capable of to the CEO and President proved that she does not give up easily until she acquires what is wanted. Therefore, the male dominated companies like Computer Central overwork the women which is sexual discrimination and this can be well- protected only if legal action is taken. The hard work shown by Ms. Anderson for the first years
