them survive[2]. Due to the area of roof limitation, the green roof type shall be intensive with greater stormwater retention capacity and efficiency meanwhile with more options of plant selection it is more attractive, however it weights more than extensive green roof [1]. 7.0 Conclusion The different components in a green-roof bed contribute to the infiltration with different degrees of effects. When designing a green-roof, the effect of each component should be taken into consideration to maximize the efficiency of the stormwater management device. For instance, choosing sedum shall result in a larger infiltration than dry diverse plants, which is desirable in terms of stormwater management. The choice of irrigation device, planting media should also be chosen with great prudence to maximize the effect of one green-roof. After all, the implementation of green-roofs shall manage excessive rainfall, therefore mitigating the risk of floods and other natural disasters; it shall infiltrate rainwater, therefore preventing it from being contaminated and contaminating the water cycle; lastly it shall create more non-infrastructure surface area to protect the environment from solar radiation. 11

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
