TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH FOR PRACTICE & POPULATIONS14investigator in a research project. As the nurse clinical instructor I am responsible for the students and developing their commitment to nursing practice and the policies. The students and I will be presenting this nursing practice change proposal to the unit. Our goal is to show thestaff and mangers that through the research of evidence- based literature, we are confident that this is the best recommended nursing practice. The practice of breastfeeding before, during, and after IM injections and heel lances is the most effective analgesia and will be beneficial to patients and mother-baby unit.
