the impact consumerism has on sustainability. As a future generation we see if we continue on this path, the damage will become irreversible. And we are a multicultural group which will help us understand the different backgrounds of the plastic pollution and how to make a solution of this problem. We are young and can pursue it in the long term and take it back to our home countries and expand our operations. Evaluation of the Proposed Solution According to research done by pitch report analysis, plastic cups ban is a severe global forum exercised in most nations. Synthetic materials have caused significant effects on the environment, and most individuals are adopting the use of alternative materials to eradicate plastic appliances. are trying to eliminate plastics. Therefore, this project seems to be in hand with most serious agencies to eradicate plastics from the world. Limiting factors to adopt alternative coffee cups over plastic cups is they are more expensive compared to plastic cups. Most individuals go for cheap cups and therefore, plastic cups seem to be cheaper, leading to increased use of plastic cups. This is a challenge to the proposed solution since it may be a difficult task to convince people from using cheap plastic coffee cups over other expensive coffee cups. Other coffee cups are not readily available as plastic coffee cups that are almost everywhere. It becomes a difficult task for most individuals to go and purchase other coffee cups when the need for coffee arises. Therefore, it is a goal of other companies to increase the accessibility of individuals all over the world to replace plastic cups. We can promote the sale of glass coffee cups in coffee shops, and give more discounts to customers who use glass coffee cups to encourage people to use glasses instead of plastic cups. Also, we can sale some glass coffee cups to the people for free or half price first. In fact, the most difficult thing for office workers and students is to form the habit of using glass coffee cups, we should do more promotion and education to make everyone aware of the seriousness of ocean plastic pollution. I believe people will pay attention to it and be willing to make some small changes. Besides, some of these paper cups still use plastic materials as a seal to avoid leakages. It may become difficult to convince individuals to adopt a useful skill that can help them replace plastic materials used so as they make materials plastic free 100%. Therefore, this is still a significant problem that should be taken into consideration by these companies that are even mixing plastic in their manufacturing and processing. In summary, it may take quite some time to eradicate plastic coffee cups, but accomplished, it will bring more advantages to the world and individuals too.
