Once you have initially logged on, please change your password. The steps to change your password are as follows: 1. Open your web browser and type: webmail.snhu.edu 2. Login using your username and password. 3. Once logged into your e-mail, click the Options button in the upper right hand corner of the window and the Options frame will open. 4. Scroll on the Options frame on the left and click on the Change Password button. 5. A new window will open. Fill in all the fields and click Save. The field information is: o First field is filled in for you, containing the SNHU domain and your username. o Second field is for your old password (your date of birth). Type your date of birth in MMDDYYYY format into this field. o Third field is for your new password. Enter a new password that is at least seven digits long. o Forth field is to confirm your new password. Retype your new password in this field. 6. Click “Save” at the top of the window and you are done.
mySNHU SNHU has created a student portal called mySNHU ( my.SNHU .edu ). This is a one stop site where students can access their email, Blackboard, and other SNHU resources. This portal also allows the student to perform self service functions like registration, paying your tuition, viewing your grades, accessing your program evaluation, searching for courses, updating your contact information or changing your password. Throughout this guide, you will be given the opportunity to access links for further information regarding specific departments or self- service tools. You will need to use the login that was created for your email to access mySNHU . Please log into this site frequently as your advisor will use the portal to message to you about news and upcoming events. Also, other important University updates will be reflected in mySNHU, including Blackboard outages, upcoming campus events that can be watched remotely, etc. Registration Students are able to register themselves through the mySNHU portal (video instruction: ing.aspx?PageView=Shared ). Double- clicking may result in an error message indicating either the loss of information, the loss of courses selected, or both. 1. Login to mySNHU by visiting . 2. Click Search and Register for Classes on the left. 3. Now you’ll see options to filter by various criteria. In the Term drop-down list , choose the term you wish to register in. 4. Select at least one additional search criteria . You can filter by subject, location, instructor and much more. (For example, if you want to see all English courses in Manchester in Term 6, select Jul-Aug 8-week for Term, English in the first Subject drop-down list, and Manchester from the Location drop-down list.) 5. Click Submit.
