they are distorting their true selves, in an attempt to win the approval of their constituents. Similarities and Differences The similarities of the three forms of psychology that are discussed above are that they all have to do with what is seen and done by a person on the outside. They are all looking at what a person does, and not necessarily who the person is. They are outward manifestations of what may or may not be inwardly wanted. They are all scientific methods and based on study and research. All three also have to do with pleasing others in one way or another be it controlling one’s behavior, one’s inner desires, and one’s true self so that others will be happy. So basically speaking all of the three forms are deterministic, where something other than the subject is responsible for their behavior. The main difference is the source of materials. Behaviorism is based solely on observation and based on physical stimuli and measureable responses and what the relationship between the two are, whereas, when it comes to psychodynamic because it is an innate drive, it cannot be measured or observed, neither can humanism.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
