rituals. But I’m sure Muslims didn’t like the way Christians did certain things as well. I admire the Muslims’ perseverance throughout their persecution. Just like the nuns in Nails in the Wall, they stood firm in what they believed in. Especially in the story of Carcayona where she gets her hands cut off after declaring that Allah was the only true God. It takes a lot to get a part of your body cut off just because of a belief. Would many people do that? It’s hard to tell. But if you’re completely sold out to your faith, I believe you’d do it. How important was Islamic architecture?
