Stereotypes are related to people of different nationalities, religions, sexual orientation, gender and for all the other divisions that make human society. Our society has been categorized by gender, bodyweight or even color of our eyes. We are surrounded by prejudices and well-known stereotypes about women in our society. Women are characterized as bad drivers. Controversy about women's driving is strongly encouraged by the majority of men. Men emphasize how they are better drivers than women although some studies show otherwise. Women cannot do men jobs, this is another stereotype compared to men. Women are in charge of housework and taking care of the kids while a man earns money for the family. Women in the U.S have been fighting for equal rights and I think they are on the right track to deny all these stereotypes that women cannot do male jobs. Another stereotype about women is that women are obsessed with physical look/weight. I agree at some point with that, because nowadays women are exposed to that term about perfection through social media, Internet, and magazines, even though a lot of men these days are starting to be obsessed with their physical looks as well. In my past, I have been a subject of discrimination, stereotypes, and prejudices about overweight people. Unfortunately, I’m struggling with an overweight problem since I was a kid. In my past I was discriminate by that stereotype that I cannot be successful like a skinny person. When I was a teenager, I was part of a musical choir. The teacher told me, she will take me on
