Community service is a voluntary act of helpfulness towards others. The term perfectly matches the definition because it is service from the people in a community that goes towards others in a community. It bring unison and togetherness to societies. It helps students to learn to make a difference to those around them, to be a change. It inspires young adults to want to help more and provide to the world. There are no downsides in the message behind community service, which is simply to help people and give back to a community. Students will have to be more productive, so therefore it decreases laziness as well. The requirement allows for students to have to search and seek out opportunities to help. Lesser known organizations will gain recognition as students begin to help them. Students will be able to understand what it means to join up with community members to make their surroundings, themselves, and the organizations improve significantly. Without this graduation requirement, students will even forget that they can voluntarily help others without profit. People’s minds should be able to grow.’” She compares the community service requirement to that of a horse in his harness being controlled. This metaphor and belief are reasonable. However, much freedom is allowed within the community service parameters. It is simply a
