First, I need to gain knowledge and understanding. I started at Livingstone College in 1998. I was so excited to attend Livingstone. My first year I did great in all my classes. In addition, meeting my roommate the second year we became close, and started partying. My roommate and I partied every day of the week. I stop attending and failed all my classes. Then I decided to drop out of school. Immediately, I decided that school wasn’t for me until years later. I decided I didn’t want to work for anyone. I want to learn more about what it takes to run and own a business. I heard so many good things about Strayer. So, I was told to check out Strayer’s business program. Strayer, here I come! Secondly, I decided to go back to school for financial stability. It’s only one income coming in right now. I am currently unable to work because of my serious health issues. Although, I am unable to work, I won’t let it stop me. I challenged myself to push forward with school and my goals of opening several different businesses. As a result, of being able to contribute to my household. In other words, take the load off my fiancé.
